The National Gallery of Victoria (NGV), founded in 1861, is Australia's oldest and most visited art museum and holds the largest collection of art in the country.

Located across two buildings – NGV International on St Kilda Road and The Ian Potter Centre: NGV Australia at Federation Square - the NGV presents major international and Australian exhibitions, contemporary art, fashion, design and special exhibitions. A third gallery, NGV Contemporary (The Fox), is scheduled to open in 2026.

Artbank is Australia's own art library that is made up of over 11,000 artworks, by 3500 artists. This Collingwood warehouse is now home to around 2000 works and also serves and a community space and artist studio.
