George Paton Gallery |
The Gallery is a visual art space with occasional performance art pieces. The focus of the space is students - as artists, curators and audience.
Through double glass doors the gallery features an expansive, flexible open space with polished floorboards. The gallery is lit with an ERCO track lighting system that offers wall washers (floodlighting) and spotlighting. The gallery is regularly maintained providing a professional exhibiting space.
Exhibitions run over a two week period with installation taking place on the Sunday and Monday prior to the exhibitions' commencement. Exhibitions are a total of nine days, from the first Tuesday to the last Friday of the tenure. Each exhibitions official opening occurs the first Wednesday of the tenure from 5-7pm.
