Pieces of Eight was established in 2005 by jeweller Melanie Katsalidis in North Fitzroy, where the Pieces of Eight Workshop remains a vibrant studio for six independent jewellers.
Both the gallery and workshop are committed to promoting contemporary jewellery and objects in dynamic new ways. Together, they provide a unique platform for makers to communicate and express their ideas to the public. The workshop also offers an exciting residency program for selected artists.
