Storehouse is a modern collaborative initiative that integrates retail spaces, galleries, and working studios.

We partner exclusively with small-scale and artisan makers, presenting a carefully curated selection of fine art and handcrafted homewares, furniture, lighting, clothing, and accessories.

Storehouse in St Kilda was originally established in Koonwarra, Sth Gippsland in 2014 and opened in St Kilda in early 2017. The Koonwarra Storehouse having originally been the residence for the Koonwarra General Store, thus our name.

Whilst showcasing all the things we love and the makers and artists we admire, our intention is to be highly discerning in our selection of unique products that have inherent worth and are created ethically.

Our extensive and diverse fine art collection is created by exceptional, internationally recognised and emerging local artists. Our close relationships with these artists support strong connections to the works and rare creative collaborations.

We offer objects crafted by nearby artisans, products made by small iconic businesses in Melbourne, custom made items handmade by trusted local makers and the occasional vintage treasure. Some products we simply have a connection to and we recognise their quality and worth.

We always consider the why, where and how of our works and products. Everything we offer is intended to become a favourite and loved for a lifetime.\
