Melbourne's Best High Tea

With Australians consuming around 22 million cups of tea daily, there are plenty of options when it comes to enjoying a good cuppa.

Treat yourself to your own garden party at Madame Brussels. This is where the Madhatters Tea Party meets Wisteria Lane.

Refreshing punches, cupcakes, cucumber sandwiches can be taken upon our rather fancy terrace or enjoyed on our garden settings upon our lush green grass indoors should the weather prove too cold.

Sofitel Melbourne On Collins

Located on the first floor lobby level, Sofi's provides an atmosphere of understated elegance complemented by natural light and changing exhibitions of artwork.

During the week Sofi's Lounge allows you to draw pause for the finest afternoon teas from 2:30pm Monday to Friday. For $49 per person served on individual tiered stands, enjoy delicate finger sandwiches, cakes, freshly baked scones with home made jam and whipped cream accompanied with a glass of sparkling wine and tea or coffee.

Each weekend (Saturday and Sunday) from 2:30pm, enjoy Sofi's High Tea buffet for $75 per person. Offering live savoury cooking and crepe station, elegant finger sandwiches, hot and cold savories, freshly baked scones with home-made jams and whipped cream, a selection of cakes, pastries and desserts and a glass of Australian sparkling wine.

Park Hyatt Melbourne

The Hotel Windsor

The Hotel Windsor has been serving traditional afternoon tea since 1883. Their famous afternoon tea is served to your table on three-tiered silver stands and consists of freshly baked scones with jam and cream, exquisite pastries and finger sandwiches.

Monday-Friday: 12 noon & 2:30pm | $69 per adult, $40 per child aged 7-12 years, $25 per child aged 3-6 years

Saturday-Sunday: 12 noon & 3pm | $89 per adult, $50 per child aged 7-12 years, $30 per child aged 3-6 years Includes an indulgent dessert buffet.
