Cookie's Monday steak special is available from 5pm until late at the Swanston Street restaurant, beer hall and cocktail bar.

For $30, the meal centres on a 250g Scotch fillet served with Nam Jim Jaew, the punchy Thai dipping sauce that brings chilli, acidity and savoury depth to grilled meat. Cookie adds fries tossed in its house seasoning and a Thai-style salad on the side.

It is a straightforward addition to the weekly line-up at Cookie, which is known for combining regional Thai dishes and family favourites with a large beer selection and cocktails. The venue occupies Level 1 of Curtin House in Melbourne's CBD.

The steak special runs every Monday from 5pm until late. Bookings are available online, while Cookie also keeps some space for walk-in diners and drinkers.
