CERES Festival of Fava 2026
Come along to our 'Festival of Fava' - a community celebration of the broad bean (fava) and the spring harvest at CERES Joe's Market Garden in Coburg.
Festival of Fava
There will be local music, cooking demonstrations, farm tours, children's nature activities and a drop-in habitat planting session.
We also honour the legacy of Joe Garita whose family first planted broad beans on the farm back in 1945.
Cooking demonstrations sharing traditions and recipes from Spain and Lebanon will run at 11:00am and 11:30am, with tasting plates available to purchase.
Our farm-gate cafe will also be open for delicious coffee, pastries and other farm-grown produce.
General entry is pay as you feel
