MelB is senior editor and head-honcho of OnlyMelbourne and Ripefruit Media.

MelB conceptualised, designed and launched OnlyMelbourne, guiding the publication through many changes, updates and challenges.

Why the helmet?

MelB is a keen cyclist often seen riding Melbourne's network of cycling paths. Some wear a WhiteHat and walk, others ride.

Sense of Humour

Publishing is a very serious business, one that takes it's toll. The support team is encouraged to embrace advertisers', readers and work with the attitude: it's a hard life in the mountains, but someone has to do it.

Is his real name Mel?

Of course it isn't.. Brian, Brysey or Mr Melbourne.

Is he raving mad or just a Melbourne nutjob?

If being a nutjob includes owning a library of Melbourne books and magazines, a collection of Melburnia (you'll figure it out), postcards, been to every location in Melbourne, goes to every event in Melbourne (yes, you've seen him and never realised who he was), then yes, MelB is a Melbourne nerd, Mr Melbourne and King Melburnian.
