Newsletter | #386 | What's On this Week |

Tuesday 27th May to Monday 2nd June 2014
As we come to the end of a very warm May, things really heat up in June with food. Roasted food, food shows, sharing food, dinners and jazz.
Besides food, there is something for everyone this week. Exhibitions, shows, theatre, festivals, birthday parties, muscles, and when all else fails, jazz.

FareShare | Rescuing Food - Fighting Hunger
FareShare rescues food and helps fight hunger to everyday Melburnian's.
Every day Melburnian's means people like you and me, old, young, people who simply cannot afford it.
In Victoria around 200,000 people regularly go hungry, or suffer malnutrition, through lack of regular access to healthy food. 17% of people on low incomes between the ages of 16-24 go hungry at times or are classed as 'food insecure'.
This means they have limited or uncertain access to good food.
We think that's way too many.
