Melbourne CBD Parking Guide

Melbourne CBD Parking Guide Melbourne CBD Parking Guide

With more than 70,000 car spaces in central Melbourne, both on and off-street, parking in the city is quick, easy and safe.

Even with the multitude of parking options, we recommend public transport, but if you have to drive, the following information will help you plan your trip.

Street parking

Kerbside parking is available with around 3,000 marked parking bays in the central city.

Parking is limited to two hours (2P) in the CBD and other busy areas - longer parking time limits are available outside the central city and in off-street car parks.

For more information, see Kerbside parking and fees.
