The Australian Ballet: Kunstkamer

Kunstkamer

The Australian Ballet presents
Kunstkamer
Witness the cultural phenomenon

Four leading choreographers. A score spanning centuries. A company of dancers pushing the possibilities of movement.

Created by Sol León, Paul Lightfoot, Crystal Pite and Marco Goecke, Kunstkamer brings together distinctive choreographic voices in a production of immense ambition. Expansive movement and inventive theatrical storytelling combine in one of The Australian Ballet's most demanding contemporary works.

Its eclectic score draws on music by more than 22 composers, crossing genres and eras. Classical works by Beethoven and Bach sit alongside the unmistakable voice of Janis Joplin, creating a musical landscape as surprising as the choreography.

Following its sold-out 2022 performances, Kunstkamer offers another chance to experience the artistry, physical intensity and grand spectacle that captivated Australian audiences.
