Circus Oz + Flying Fruit Fly Circus
50 years in the making.

Expect daring feats, big laughs and plenty of heart as two of Australia's best-loved circus companies share the stage for the first time.

The Next Big Thing brings the experienced performers of Circus Oz together with the extraordinary young artists of the Flying Fruit Fly Circus. It's a meeting of generations where fresh ideas and decades of experience combine, and everyone has something to teach the other.

Packed with humour and jaw-dropping skills, this joyful new production celebrates Australian circus: everything that has brought it this far, and the talent taking it into the future.

Two Remarkable Circus Companies

Established in Melbourne in 1978, Circus Oz has taken its distinctive mix of daring physical skills, live music and irreverent comedy to audiences around the world. Its bold approach has helped shape contemporary Australian circus for nearly five decades.

The Flying Fruit Fly Circus is Australia's National Youth Circus, nurturing young artists aged eight to 18. Home to the country's only full-time circus school, it combines intensive training with creativity and performance to develop the next generation of circus talent.
