Victoria's Amusement ParksIt dawned on us as Melbourne's Luna Park celebrating its 100th birthday in 2012, just how many amusement parks have come and gone.

As far back as the 1800's, there have been amusements in Melbourne and country Victoria that have thrilled us, but sadly only for a short period of time. Some are still around like the fabulous Moomba (1951), Royal Melbourne Show (1848) and Luna Park (1912), but sadly many are gone..

Australian Wildlife Wonderland Park

The Australian Wildlife Park first opened it's doors on the 26th December 1990 and was part of Wonderland Sydney (formerly Australia's Wonderland). It eventually closed it's doors on 25th April 2004. Source
