The pub was designed & built in Ireland by GGD Global Ltd, 83 Amiens Street, Dublin and then assembled in Melbourne. The Quiet Man is famous in Melbourne and beyond for its genuine Irish Food, Music and Ambience. The pub captures the essence of friendly Irish hospitality so typical of those pubs 'back home' on which it is based.
While the Quiet Man's name has links to the 1952 film starring John Wayne and Maureen O'Hara, it is more reflective of the quintessential Quiet Man as depicted in Maurice Walsh's ' The Quiet Man' ..
