Sonny Fodera returns to Melbourne

Adelaide-born DJ and producer Sonny Fodera has built an international career around vocal-driven house music, club-ready productions and energetic DJ sets. This October, he brings that sound back to Australia for headline dates in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth and Sydney.

The Melbourne show lands at PICA - the Port Melbourne Industrial Centre for the Arts - on Friday 16 October, with doors currently listed for 7pm. It follows the tour opener at Brisbane's Fortitude Music Hall on 15 October, before Fodera continues to Perth's Ice Cream Factory and Sydney's Hordern Pavilion.

The run supports Can We Do It All Again?, the latest chapter in a catalogue that has accumulated more than 1.4 billion streams. Fodera's recent releases include Somedays and Asking, as well as the 2025 D.O.D and Poppy Baskcomb collaboration Think About Us, which reached number one on the Australian airplay chart.

From Adelaide to international dancefloors

Fodera's Australian dates come after years spent building an increasingly large international audience. His touring résumé includes appearances at Coachella, Tomorrowland and EDC Las Vegas, alongside an Ibiza residency and sold-out touring across the UK, Europe and North America.

A significant milestone arrived in 2025 when Fodera headlined Manchester's Co-op Live, playing to more than 20,000 people. The arena-scale show reflected how far the producer has travelled from his Australian beginnings, while his music has remained firmly rooted in contemporary house.

For Melbourne, PICA provides a suitably large-scale industrial setting. The Port Melbourne venue has become a regular destination for major electronic events, with a 2026 calendar featuring international acts and touring dance brands including Terminal V, Anjunadeep and Overmono.
