Run Melbourne 2026: Join Melbourne's Biggest Winter Running Event

Run Through the Heart of Melbourne

Run Melbourne gives participants the rare opportunity to race through closed city streets while passing some of Melbourne's most recognisable landmarks.

Whether chasing a personal best, taking on a new fitness challenge or simply enjoying the atmosphere, runners of different ages and abilities can experience the excitement of one of the city's biggest annual sporting events.

Choose Your Run

The ASICS Half Marathon has officially sold out, but runners can still be part of the action by registering for the La Roche-Posay 10K or Runner's World 5.5K.

Both events offer an accessible way to experience the city course, energetic crowds and unmistakable Run Melbourne atmosphere without tackling the full half-marathon distance.

Make Every Step Count

Run Melbourne is about more than crossing the finish line. Participants are encouraged to raise money for a charity or cause close to their hearts.

Over the past 18 years, Run Melbourne participants have collectively raised more than $20 million for charities and community organisations.

Run Melbourne 2026

Run Melbourne will take place across Melbourne on Sunday 19 July 2026.

Registrations remain open for the La Roche-Posay 10K and Runner's World 5.5K, subject to availability. Runners should register early and check the official event information for course details, start times, road closures and participant requirements.
