REWARD $1m - Unsolved Crimes

Did you know the oldest outstanding reward for an unsolved crime in Victoria is $50,000 for the recovery of the Speaker’s mace on 9th October 1891.

Today Police doubled a reward over a cold-case murder to $100,000 reward for information about the murder of a man found buried on top of a body in a grave near Shepparton in Victoria nine years ago.

Its remarkable just how many unsolved crimes there are, and even more surprising given the rewards on offer. We found quite a few unsolved crimes listed on crimenet.com.au with unclaimed rewards available for information leading to a conviction or the crime being solved.
