Announcement
Reader's Feast | Abbotsford Convent
Entering our 22nd year (2017) Reader's Feast Bookstore has become a highly successful and significant feature of the literary environment in Australia.
Synonymous with friendly service an excellent range and strong community links Reader's Feast personnel are committed to helping you with your book enquiries and providing an enjoyable and professional experience.
Reader's Feast bookstore is an independently run business, peopled by booksellers who have all worked together for more than 20 years and believe bookstores are part of the cultural heritage of a city. A range of books, handmade stationery and framed prints can be found in-store.
Every Sunday at 11.30am, Reader's Feast host Story Time for young readers. Stay tuned for an exciting calendar of author events.
Reader's Feast is on the move and looking forward to new challenges and positive changes. We left the Georges building on Sunday night and will have two transition sites whilst we decide on a permanent home.
We are now open at the St. James Building on Bourke Street. Our store is three doors along William Street from the corner of Bourke & William Streets and will trade Monday to Friday.
We are now open at Abbotsford Convent every weekend and some weekdays.
In both instances we will take a few weeks to monitor traffic patterns and then settle on our official opening and closing times.
I want to thank those who continue to support us and nurture our business. I have to publicly acknowledge the loyalty dignity and enthusiasm of each of my colleagues who come with me as Reader's Feast evolves and grows.
