2017 Revamp & Name Change

Retailers are excited that a name change, a $150-million redevelopment and an influx of new tenants will attract new shoppers to Docklands.

Ashe-Morgan (owners) have announced Harbour Town Melbourne will change to District Docklands.

Swedish giant H&M have signed on as the anchor tenant, with New Zealand brand Canterbury, Japanese-Chinese variety store Miniso, plus Cotton On and General Pants Co.

The owners have installed all-weather roofing , as well as bolstered the greenery and landscaping elements.

Harbour Town Melbourne’s marketing director, Kelly Jensen, said: This is definitely the Docklands transformation Melburnians have been waiting for.

We’re not going to see all the changes overnight. This is the first step ...

The entertainment precinct will include an eight-screen Hoyts cinema, a new leisure concept by Funlab, which runs Strike Bowling and Holey Moley mini-golf , and new dining outlets.
