Discovery Science & Technology Centre is regional Victoria's largest not for profit educational science centre and one of only seven science centres in Australia.

For curious minds 5 and under we have Kaleidoscope, a space full of colour and tactile play experiences fenced in to keep curious adventurers safe.

Established in 1995 within a beautiful historic Railway Goods Shed near the Bendigo Railway Station, the Discovery Science and Technology Centre is a not-for-profit educational and inspirational facility.

Discovery has come to be seen as both a centre for learning and a place where science is hands-on and fun for regional families and visitors. Our vision is to break down barriers and make STEM accessible, inclusive and representative for all, by inspiring and nurturing scientific curiosity.

OPENING HOURS

Discovery is a not-for-profit, community-based organisation that is open daily. Discovery is closed on Christmas Day, Boxing Day and during the month of February. On Australia Day Discovery closes and re-locates to Lake Weeroona.
