Widely regarded as one of the defining plays of the 20th century, Arthur Miller's **Death of a Salesman** returns to Melbourne's Her Majesty's Theatre for a strictly limited season from **11 to 22 August 2026**.

Directed by acclaimed Australian director Neil Armfield, whose celebrated productions include Cloudstreet, The Secret River, The Diary of a Madman and Exit the King, the production reunites audiences with Miller's enduring portrait of ambition, family and the pursuit of the Australian-and universal-dream.

Following his acclaimed Broadway performance in A View from the Bridge, Anthony LaPaglia returns to the works of Arthur Miller in the iconic role of travelling salesman Willy Loman. He is joined by an outstanding Australian cast including Helpmann Award and Silver Logie winner Alison Whyte, Josh Helman, making a powerful return to the stage as Biff Loman, and Ben O'Toole.

First performed in 1949, Death of a Salesman won both the Pulitzer Prize for Drama and the Tony Award for Best Play. More than 75 years later, Miller's exploration of family relationships, identity, success and the cost of chasing impossible dreams continues to resonate with audiences around the world, cementing its place as one of modern theatre's most influential works.

Running for approximately 3 hours and 15 minutes, including an interval, this landmark production offers Melbourne theatre audiences the opportunity to experience one of the world's greatest plays performed by an exceptional Australian cast.

The season runs at Her Majesty's Theatre from 11 to 22 August 2026.
