Deakin's City and Corporate Centres provide high-quality, technology-rich, sophisticated meeting and event spaces.
These spaces enable the University to facilitate partnerships with industry, corporate, alumni, governments and professional associations.
Deakin staff can use the Centres for:
Important University profiling, liaison and alumni activities;
Industry-based engagement, consulting and research initiatives with governments and the professions;
Development and delivery of corporate education, professional development and selected postgraduate programs.
They offer several catering packages, including morning or afternoon tea, working lunches, all-day packages, formal dinners and cocktail functions.
Event spaces
Downtown features meeting rooms accommodating between 4 and 16 people and 4 multi-purpose rooms that can be set in various layouts to seat between 20 and 230 people.

Meeting rooms: from 4 to 16 people featuring (LCD Screen, In room PC, Video conferencing)
Executive Boardroom: up to 20 people (LCD Screen, In room PC, Video conferencing, Hearing Augmentation, Private Lounge)
Boardroom: 14-16 people boardroom style (Video conference, LCD display, PC/DVD Player, Audio conference, Flipchart/electronic whiteboard on request)
Theatre rooms: from 66 people theatre style or 40 at tables of 8 up to 230 people theatre style or 144 at tables of 8 - featuring Wi-Fi, Video Conferencing, Projector, In-room PC, Whiteboard, VGA and HDMI connections, Hearing Augmentation, Lectern mic, Lapel mic/s and Roaming mic/s
