Melbourne Star invites you to experience Melbourne in a whole new way, giving visitors and locals alike a new way to engage with Melbourne's vibrant cityscape.
Visitors to Melbourne Star will enjoy a wealth of information about Melbourne, including its history, culture, eccentricities and the ‘Star’ qualities of modern Melbourne, through a pre-boarding display and story panels, ‘Tales of Melbourne’, and via specially researched cabin audio.
It is far more than a ride on a giant observation wheel, although for most people that will be an entirely new experience in itself; it is a wholly new Melbourne experience and I believe it will become a must-do activity for locals and visitors alike.
About the Wheel
The Melbourne Star Observation Wheel is almost 120m high, around 38 storey's into the air featuring 21 air-conditioned glass cabins that showcase some of the most spectacular views over Melbourne and beyond.
The Southern Star Observation Wheel has been renamed the Melbourne Star. With a new name and a much anticipated re-opening comes a new video..
We had the pleasure of riding the wheel and promise you will love the experience.
