Visiting the Yarra Valley Railway

Trains depart Healesville Station on the hour from 10am to 4pm, every Sunday, Public Holiday and Wednesday's in School Holidays (excluding Christmas Day).

Join us for a trip on the heritage Walker Railmotor RM22 from Healesville to Tarrawarra Estate, crossing the Watts River, under the Donovan's Road overbridge and through the historic tunnel at Tarrawarra Winery. Relax and take in the spectacular sights and sounds of the beautiful Yarra Valley.

Train rides depart Healesville Station every Sunday and Public Holiday, with exception of Christmas Day. Train rides also operate every Wednesday during School Holidays and selected Saturdays. Throughout the year, the Yarra Valley Railway also operate Special Events, such as the Easter Extravaganza and Ghost Train!

Please note on days of extreme weather or severe (or greater) fire danger, the YVR may suspend operations.

All tickets are available for sale on the day of travel at Healesville Station. Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the departure time to ensure you have sufficient time to purchase your ticket.
