World IDOL winner! |

This morning [6:30am EST] World Idol cranked into gear, watched by considerably less people than the original live performance show.
The general consensus was World Idol was either the best ever comedy show or simply the worst talent display since European Song contest. In fact, it seemed to make Euro look good!
To make matters worse, the voting system [or lack of one] inspired no-one. We all knew who we wanted to win. Would the world agree and vote for our Sebastian? Would anyone really bother to vote after such a dismissal show?
Someone did!
Earlier today, the winner was announced : Kurt Nilsen [24] from Norway, the little odd looking guy with the tremendous voice and rendition of U2's Beautiful Day.
Although the official IDOL web site [slow loading] and Channel 10's web site are still telling us "how to vote", ABC Radio announced the winner during their 11am news bulletin.
