International restaurant concept Vapiano recently opened its first Victorian location on Flinders Lane in Melbourne's CBD.
The eatery offers diners a true Italian experience with freshly made pasta and pizza alongside salads, antipasti and dolci (desserts) at prices that will not break the bank.
Upon entering the restaurant, patrons order their choice of delectable dishes directly with the kitchen and can watch the chefs create the pasta dish or salad in front of them. If pizza is the food of choice, then you will receive a buzzer and can collect your pizza when it buzzes.
The decor offers a convivial yet intimate atmosphere with a mix of high and low set shared tables, two outdoor dining areas and a bar. An olive tree in the centre of the restaurant is a unique and charming focal point. The setting is ideal for relaxed dates, groups of friends and business colleagues.
