When working on this collection I imagined myself as a contemporary - primitive artist/designer that seeks to deliver to the viewer simple yet meaningful messages, by using austere artistic techniques: carving, cutting, scratching, sanding, burning.

I think there is a true source of recharging and clarity for an artist, when looking at primitive art forms.

The simplicity of the message, the purpose and intentionality, the directness, the authenticity, are inspirational for furthering of personal artistic practice.
