Two Fat Indians
Two fat Indians was established in May 2006 by Khushwant Singh. The name fittingly describes Khush and his brother Michael who both share a love of good food.
Khush and Michael grew up in Australia with their dad, Chef Ajit Singh. As you imagine right from a young age Ajit made his sons work in the kitchen. Once viewed as slave labour the brothers now appreciate the time they spent in the kitchen learning the traditional cooking styles from their father.
Two fat Indians brings to you these traditional cooking styles to create the finest northern Indian cuisine you will ever taste. We have resisted the temptation of switching to today's more convenient gas tandoor and stayed true to the traditional charcoal ovens.
We feel that it delivers a unique smoky flavour that gas tandoors cannot achieve. Using this approach, combined with quality ingredients in all our preparations, we are sure you will be able to taste the twofatindians difference. You will leave eating more than you should!
