Travellers Aid Australia supports travellers by providing simple, practical travel-related support and aid that helps them travel independently and confidently, no matter what their background. The Active Service Model (ASM) approach of helping our clients live as independently and autonomously as possible underpins the way we deliver key services. Emergency Relief Transport options and advice to help travellers in emergency situations feel safe and empowered. Pathways to Education Subsidised student travel tickets to help disadvantaged students attend school. Buggy & Personal Guidance Service Helping ensure safe passage at Southern Cross Station. Tourist info, rest, & other facilities Information and facilities for travellers in transit. Travellers Aid Access Service (TAAS) Free personal care assistance to seniors or travellers with a disability. Companion Service Assistance with getting to and from essencial appointments. Mobility Equipment Hire Assisting people who are frail, aged, or living with a disability. Internet Access Internet access for the general public with JAWS software available.
