Summer with Ned Kelly at the Old Melbourne Gaol
Visitors to the Old Melbourne Gaol will have the chance to meet the real Ned Kelly in an all-new, virtual reality experience opening in December for a limited-time only.
If you've ever wondered what it would be like to come face-to-face with one of Australia's most notorious criminals, Think You Know Me? will take you up close and personal with the renowned outlaw during an intimate virtual reality encounter.
Recommended for ages 12 and over, participants will have the opportunity to uncover the real Ned and immerse themselves in his final moments whilst revisiting one of the most talked-about trials and executions in Australian history.
Children aged five and over will also have the chance to have their own Ned Kelly encounter, with A Word From Ned; a code-breaking scavenger hunt around every nook and cranny of the Gaol to discover an important message from Ned's side of the story.
Don't miss your chance to discover the man beyond the armour these summer school holidays. Think You Know Me? and A Word From Ned are both available for a limited-time only, from Saturday 22 December 2018 until Wednesday, 29 January, 2019.
