Now there's something arguably more desirable at Melbourne Airport than an airport lounge pass...

Stomping Ground Brewery and Beer Hall inside the airport's Terminal 3 is the first working brewery inside an airport in Australia, and only the fourth in the world.

It is part of Melbourne Airport's initiative to showcase some of the city's most loved cafes and bars, and we'll be joining the likes of Pickett's Deli and Moors restaurant from celebrated Melbourne restaurateurs Scott Pickett and Shane Delia respectively, EARL Canteen, much loved caf© Cobb Lane, Axil Coffee Roasters and Proud Mary. Because why shouldn't our airport have some of Melbourne's best food and drink!

We believe beer should be for everyone, so the 30 taps will pour a wide range of beer styles to suit all tastes, from laid-back easy drinkers to the more adventurous. While most beers will be brewed at our main Collingwood brewery, as many as 30 different beers will be brewed onsite each year.

We teamed up again with our design team Studio Y and Melbourne artist Justine McAllister to ensure that the venue, set against the backdrop of the brewery tanks and the airfield, is the perfect place to relax when your flight is delayed, or stop for a quick beer before you board.

A century ago Collingwood was the epicentre of Australian brewing and breweries were an integral part of their community. We're proud to bring independent brewing back to its original stomping ground - and put our community at the heart of everything we do. Beer should be for everyone and we brew great beers to suit all tastes from laid-back easy drinkers to adventurous spirits.
