Rye Rotary Foreshore Market - On Hold |
We are very sorry to say that, due to the Rye Foreshore Re-development Plan by the Mornington Peninsula Shire, our Rye Foreshore Market is currently on hold.
Mornington Peninsula Shire Council is building bigger and better car parking facilities on the Rye carnival site side and expanding the grassy area on the playground side.
The plans look great and are scheduled to be complete in December, so we are hopeful of returning to a much-improved site then.
In the meantime, stay warm and dry ... and please consider attending the Heart of the Community Market - Rosebud - Saturday 12th December which is run by Rosebud Primary School.
Our Rotary club supports the Primary School and will be there with BBQ to serve you piping hot bacon and egg rolls and sausages in bread, plus drinks - all profits going to local charitable causes.
