Our teppanyaki restaurant in Melbourne cooks in a traditional Japanese teppanyaki style, where diners play a big part in the preparation of their meals. The word teppanyaki is derived from the word 'teppan' which translates to iron plate, and 'yaki' which means grilled. Crucial to the teppanyaki experience is to watch the chef's knife and cooking skills while your meal is being prepared. An art form not to be rushed, you're invited to select your ingredients and interact with your personal chef as they create culinary delights before your very eyes.
Whether focused on teppanyaki or modern Japanese cuisine, all Kobe Jones restaurants employ expert chefs trained in the Japanese style, and use only the highest quality ingredients, sustainably sourced and impeccably fresh. The sea farmed or aquaculture products we source must meet our strict standards, and we only source fish where there is no threat to their sustainability.

We accept payment using all major credit and debit cards, and Eftpos. From Monday through Saturday all credit and debit card payments will incur a 1.0% processing fee. There is no charge for Eftpos. On Sundays and public holidays a 15% surcharge will be applied to the total value of food and beverages before any relevant discount.
