A central meeting place for community members of all ages and interests, Kensington Town Hall is a versatile arts-for-hire venue in the heart of the North Melbourne precinct.
Recently re-acquired by the City of Melbourne, the spaces within this heritage building have been restored to offer a range of options for small to large scale events, markets, and performances.
The Main Hall and Supper Room are suitable for medium to large engagements and come complete with lots of natural light, table and chair setup options and kitchen access.
Additionally, Kensington Town Hall contains meeting and conference rooms and a ground floor studio close to accessible toilets and shower.
All spaces are wheelchair accessible with first floor lift access.
Opening hours:
9am - 5pm Monday to Friday
Venue hire availability:
9am - 10pm Sunday to Thursday
9am - 11pm Friday and Saturday
Eligible hirers:
This venue is open to everyone. Frequent hirers include community, theatre and dance groups, schools, businesses and other creative individuals.
