Junior Rangers School Holiday Program

Parks Victoria's popular Junior Ranger program is coming to a park near you.
The Junior Ranger program is aimed at kids aged 6 to 12 who like getting outdoors to explore nature and animals. There is a range of self-guided and ranger-led activities.
Parks planning to run activities over the summer include Yarra Bend Park, Queenscliff, Wonthaggi State Coal Mine, You Yangs, Great Otway National Park, Wilsons Promontory National Park, Werribee Mansion, Point Nepean National Park, Mornington Peninsula National Park, Williamstown, Serendip Sanctuary and River Red Gum Parks.
Junior Rangers are entertained and inspired by a program that celebrates play in the great outdoors.
Kids who take part in the Junior Ranger program have fun whilst learning about the importance of preserving parks for the future, and what they can do to do help.
Junior Rangers can also lead their own activities. Many of the activities run by parks can also be downloaded from www.juniorrangers.com.au.
Kids must be accompanied by an adult and those taking part are reminded to bring sun protection and sturdy footwear on the day.
All participants over the age of 18 will be required to show proof of vaccination to participate in a Parks Victoria Junior Ranger activity.
