A neon-lit bar offering a vision of what a journey into the afterlife might involve, House of Maximon features late-night dancing, 'makeshift' cocktails, and a fine selection of tequila.

There's also a devilishly good menu with cold cured meats, pintxos and spiced popcorn, all delivered to a debaucherous crowd under the watchful eye of the infamous Central American deity San Simon (an icon otherwise known as Maximón).
