Known locally as the Dandy Show the 149th annual Dandenong Show will be a fabulous two-day event.
The country's coming to town - Dandy Show. Come to the Show to see lots of horses cattle sheep poultry and more. Go on a ride. Buy a showbag or two. Wander through the arts and crafts pavilion. Lots of entertaining things to see and do. New entertainment. Fireworks on Saturday night.
From sheep sideshows and show-bags the Dandenong Show has something for everyone with 20000 visitors from across the country flocking to the city in the second weekend of November.
Founded in 1871 this annual event was an important outlet for the predominantly rural community to make business contacts and showcase their stock. While both the city and the show have come a long way since those early days it continues to remain true to its roots.
*TBC - second weekend of November = in 2026 first weekend is a Sunday only. The second (full weekend) in November is 14 & 15 November 2026
