Built in 1847, Como is an intriguing mix of Australian Regency and classic Italianate architecture.

This time-capsule of Melbourne aristocracy spans a century from the Gold Rush era through two World Wars.

Como offers a glimpse into the privileged lifestyle of former owners, the Armytage family, who lived there for nearly a century. Bring your own picnic and wander through the beautiful gardens.

Opening Hours

Gardens:
Monday to Saturday: 9:00 am – 5:00 pm
Sunday: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

National Trust Gift Shop:
Monday to Friday: 10:00 am – 3:00 pm
Saturday to Sunday: 10:00 am – 3:30 pm

House Guided Tours:
Saturday and Sunday: 11:00 am, 12:30 pm, and 2:00 pm
(Note: Tours do not run on days forecasted at 41°C or hotter).

Entry to the gardens is free.
