Spleen's regular comedy nights have been revived, with two shows every Monday and Friday night
You hear that? That's the sound of laughter tentatively trickling back into Melbourne's laneways because the city's first comedy shows in literal months are BACK.
Spleen Bar (who in the Beforetime ran regular comedy nights) has announced it will be running twice weekly live comedy gigs starting Friday, June 5. The shows will run every Monday and Friday, with two, one-hour shows a night (at 7pm and 8.30pm).
To keep in line with current restrictions, each one-hour show is limited to 15 guests and food and drink is included with your ticket (you get one main and two drinks per person, but you must buy at least two tickets). With a 15 guest maximum, those tickets are highly coveted and some shows have already sold out.
Tickets are currently available for comedy shows from June 8 to June 19 - visit the booking website to secure your spot.
