Collingwood College is an internationally accredited state school offering Prep to Year 12 education to students from the inner-city and many other suburbs of Melbourne.
The College offers educational programs to meet a range of individual needs, a diverse school community and an outstanding teaching and learning environment.
The College recently celebrated its 125th anniversary with the publication of a book, The School on the Flat - Collingwood College 1882-2007. This publication was researched and written by historian John Young, a retired researcher from the National Centre for Australian Studies at Monash University.
Steiner Education

Steiner and a small group of teachers worked to develop a philosophy, curriculum and methodology of teaching that was firmly child based and that allowed for the child's individual development in a social and world cultural context.
Collingwood College has adapted the Class Teacher system to its very own setting of Junior School (Classes 1 - 5), Middle School (6 - 8) and High School (9 - 10).
