Central Pier is currently closed for safety and rennovation works. Re-open Mid October 2019. Central Pier Docklands is a cultural, community, entertainment and events hub in the booming Docklands region. It is superbly positioned jutting 350 metres out into Victoria Harbour and surrounded by water on three sides. Atlantic Group [v]'s $30 million re-development has brought to life this waterfront destination. It fuses the pier's industrial past with a sophisticated and cutting edge design. Sympathetic to the heritage nature of the sheds, their exterior aesthetic has been retained whilst the inside has been sensitively redeveloped to accommodate new state-of-the-art facilities. The precinct has quickly earnt itself a reputation as the destination for Melbourne's hottest parties and events.
AlumbraAlumbra is a waterside cocktail bar and brings its trademark global essence to Central Pier. An international bar fusing rich Middle Eastern and European influences offering 360-degree views of the Docklands precinct, Bolte Bridge and city skyline.
Va beneVa bene translated in English means "all good". In most parts throughout Europe, community is the most important thing. People enjoy their spare time sitting around in large groups of family & friends laughing and enjoying great food & wine taking every moment as it comes. The recent development of Va Bene Pizzeria @ Central Pier has been completely motivated by the desire to enjoy authentic Italian flavors in the simplest of styles; exquisitely prepared pizza art, alongside traditional pasta dishes just like Nonna used to make back home. Only this time, home is in the very heart of Melbourne's favorite and oldest waterfront location....Central Pier at the Docklands. Showcasing a humble selection of all Italian beers and wines, this impressive communal style seating floor plan with exposed "fire engine red"ceiling truss, clearly sets the scene for a very unique waterside dining experience.
