Melburnian Billy Miller is best known as the lead singer of The Ferrets.
Who doesn't remember Don't Fall In Love? Don't Fall In Love was a Number #1 hit in 1977 for The Ferrets.
Don't Fall In Love
He formed The Ferrets after a 3 year stint in the cast of Jesus Christ Superstar. Countless bands and gigs followed, today he still plays in his original band, and up until 2004 worked in a music production company (Duffield Kenihan Pty Ltd) creating music for TV commercials, and co-producing the music for "Round The Twist"(Children's TV Foundation). Billy also composed music for several short films, including "The Bird"(VCA 1996), which won best music in its category.
Billy is still playing gigs, recording, composing and producing soundtracks. He barracks for his beloved Saints (St Kilda Football Club) along with Molly Meldrum.
