Albury Racecourse is at Racecourse Road North Albury NSW, only 5 minutes from the centre of Albury CBD.

1840 was the first recorded race meeting conducted in Albury at 'Browns Paddock' which ran roughly from the Hovell Tree to the rotunda in the Botanical Gardens.

Albury Racecourse is operated by The Albury Racing Club. 21st of January, 1881 was when the Albury Racing Club was formed. The club conducts 17 thoroughbred race meetings each year with the feature event the Commercial Club Albury Gold Cup run in March.

The club hosts a variety of functions and events at the racecourse throughout the year including, weddings, corporate events, trade shows, Christmas parties and social events.

How To Get There:
Buses operate from central Albury to the racecourse departing continuously from the following stops:

Atura Albury (Dean Street)
QEII Square (Dean Street)
Myer Centrepoint (David Street)
Corner David St and Wilson St Albury
Springdale Heights Tavern (Cnr Webb st & Kaitlers Rd)
Centro Lavington (Griffith Road)
Thurgoona Plaza
Thurgoona Drive (opposite St Hillaire)
Elizabeth Mitchell Dr & Quondong Streets
For the return trip buses will be operating from the racecourse to central Albury dropping at Dean St Lavington Shopping centre & Thurgoona on demand.

Car Parking:
There is limited car parking available at the racecourse. Patrons are encouraged to utilise either the bus service or taxis to get to and from the track.
