As a wise man once said, "a good concussion in the working man's lobotomy."

Have you ever stayed in a relationship long after you knew it was over just because it was validation that someone found you hot despite the fact you spent most of first grade under a desk pretending to be a mouse?

Last year Steph's long-term relationship ended while at the same time she marked her ten-year anniversary an eating disorder that she's not totally sure why she still has. (But that's okay, because maybe you've noticed, but skinny is so back in fashion, which means eating disorders are actually hot again!!)

Aftertaste is an off-beat, exploration of the societal obsession with beauty, the emphasis placed being in a relationship, and the overwhelming chaos of being in your twenties.
