Located in Melbourne's historic Fitzroy Gardens on Wurundjeri Country, Yiaga takes an innovative, context-responsive approach that reflects the City of Melbourne and our southern island home.
Our ever-evolving menu and beverage program celebrate Australia through its farmers, fishers, growers, makers, artists, and creatives. The restaurant sits gently within the heritage park, crafted almost entirely from Australian materials and traditions of local craft.
Founded by Hugh Allen, Yiaga is the sum of many diverse talents shaping each guest experience.
We look forward to welcoming you to dine beneath the century-old elm trees in the Gardens.

Reservations are released three months in advance and open on the 1st of each month at 10:00 AM (AEST).

Yiaga is open Thursday to Saturday for dinner and Friday to Sunday for lunch.

Yiaga is located in Fitzroy Gardens at 230-298 Wellington Parade, East Melbourne.
Yiaga is best accessed from the Clarendon Street side of the park between Gipps and Hotham Street.
We do not have private on-site parking. Paid street parking is available nearby, though spaces can be limited.
For convenience, we encourage guests to use ride-share services, taxis, or public transport.
Train: The closest station is Jolimont Station. Parliament and Flinders Street stations are also nearby, approximately a 10-15 minute walk.
Tram: Several routes run along Spring Street and Wellington Parade, both within a short walk of Fitzroy Gardens.
