Located at Pinewood Shopping Centre, on the way to Waverley Cinema these customers would have past at least two major cinemas run by others such as Hoyts, Village or Greater Union.. So why would they go all that way?

Simple, Waverley Cinema is a small family theatre, providing unbeaten value for money prices and that old fashion customer service that you just can't find at the majors.

With 4 theatrettes on offer, the Waverly Cinema is equipped with all the latest cinema technologies, including the popular Dolby Digital Sound Processors, and now the latest innovation Dolby Digital Ex.

Originally operating as a Cinema and Restaurant, which was located upstairs, the single screen cinema and a restaurant above operated for many years. At the end 1998 the original single screen cinema of 300 hundred seats was divided into two separate cinemas, one seating 187 (cinema 1) while the other portion seats 80 (cinema 2).

Twelve months later the restaurant above the cinema was converted into two new identical cinemas (theatrettes 3 & 4). These additional cinemas allow Waverley Cinema to screen several films at a time.
