The Royal Hotel was built in September 1855 and opened in August 1857.

Originally named Schnapper Point Hotel. It changed names in 1876 following visits to the hotel by Prince Alfred, Duke of Edinburgh, second son of Queen Victoria.

Exciting, modern bistro menu, using inspirations from around the world. A wide selection of Appetisers, Entrees, Mains, Desserts & Petits Fours are available, to accommodate all tastes & dietary requirements.
