The Little Food Market 2025

Australia's culinary playground returns!
The Little Food Market is back from 18-20 July, transforming the iconic Royal Exhibition Building into Melbourne's ultimate winter escape.
Gather your crew and join us for three flavour-packed days of tastings, shopping, feasting and discovery - all brought to life by Australia's most exciting food and drink creators.
Born from the success of The Big Design Market - The Little Food Market is here to celebrate the original; the high quality; and the passion of Australian tastemakers.
What's on the menu
Get ready to sip, shop and savour your way through over 200 of Australia's top tastemakers. From bold small-batch spirits and award-winning cheeses to flavour-packed sauces, sweets, preserves and more - it's your ultimate tasting tour of Australia's best producers.
Hungry for more? The Feasting precinct is back, dishing up full-sized meals from some of Melbourne's most beloved kitchens. Think woodfired pizza, premium sashimi, Sri Lankan curries and golden Portuguese tarts - all served under twinkling lights in our cosy winter oasis.
Save the date and join us for an extraordinary exploration of flavours.
The stage
Pull up a seat at The Chef's Hat Stage - your front-row ticket to culinary creativity. Across the weekend, top chefs, producers and flavour-makers will share their secrets through live cooking demos, tastings and conversations.
From pasta-making and cheeseboard styling to wine pairings and more, it's a delicious lineup hosted by food journalist Dani Valent and Turnip Media's Hilary McNevin.
The regions
This year, we're bringing more of regional Victoria to the city with our expanded Regional Hubs. Discover immersive showcases from three standout regions - Bendigo, Gippsland and the Mornington Peninsula - each presenting eight handpicked producers.
From cool-climate wines and artisan spirits to premium pantry goods and small-batch creations, it's your chance to meet the makers and explore the rich stories and flavours behind some of the state's most exciting food and drink.
