Talbot Farmers' & Town Hall Market

Talbot Farmers' & Craft Market are two great markets on the same day (third Sunday of every month), so take a drive and check them out.
Talbot Farmers' & Town Hall Market supports an evolving display of over 80 stalls of regional produce - seasonal fruit and vegetables, organic produce, bread, cheese, meat, wine, oils, delicacies - plus pigs, chooks, stock feed, cut flowers, plants and seedlings... together with live and local music.
Talbot Farmers' Market
On market day over 100 stallholders set up in Talbot's historic precinct, along Scandinavian Crescent and surrounding streets.
On offer is farm fresh organic fruit and vegetables, honey, wine, pasta, puddings, olives, organic meat, continental cakes, local flaxseed oil, home made cheeses, live produce, plants and more.
Talbot Farmers' Market operates on the third Sunday of each month from 9am to 1pm. For further information please contact 03 5463 2001.
Town Hall Craft Market
Set in and around the recently restored town hall on Ballarat Street, the Town Hall crafts market has stalls for books, plants, soaps, bags, accessories, collectables, tools, toys, socks, scarves and artisan products creatively crafted from timber, cloth, iron and all sorts of found materials.
The sausage sizzle is run by a rotation of local charities and there are buskers dotted around the town... Follow a sign down a back lane and you could end up at a local garage sale - it sometimes seems all of Talbot is for sale on market day!
The Town Hall craft market is held on the third Sunday of each month, from 9am to 1pm. For further information please contact 03 5463 2501.
Talbot is 166 km from Melbourne, 40 minutes north of Ballarat, or 90 minutes from Melbourne's Westgate Bridge.
