Stay Kind |

Stay Kind promotes the prevention of harm to our youth, from self-harm to suicide. In particular, prevention of harm as a result of bullying, hazing & violence.
Kindness is the true currency of humanity. Each and everyone of us benefits when giving or receiving an act of kindness.
As a youth centric organisation we see national kindness ultimately benefiting our youth and keeping them safe from violence, hazing and suicide.
"Stay Kind"after Stuart's initials
Stuart took his own life in July 2016. Stay Kind initiatives, "Stay Kind"after Stuart Kelly's initials, promote the prevention of harm to our youth from self-harm and suicide. In particular, prevention from harm as a result of bullying (traditional and cyber), hazing, and violence.
Our vision is to foster social and behaviorial change through community awareness, community initiatives and education. We promote and provide strategies that encourage kindness and support to ultimately build a safer and healthier community that keeps our youth safe.
Listening Saves Lives!
Stay Kind wishes to encourage not only youth but the entire Australian population to care for one another.
As a kind, compassionate community, it's important to show empathy whilst also acknowledging and recognising that many people suffer in silence.
Young people may find themselves overwhelmed by life or by others, and be unable to speak out.
They may not seek help for themselves when this happens or if they are dealing with mental health issues...
"Suicide itself is not a crime.
But what precedes it may just be."
-Ralph Kelly
Kind July
If every Australian did one act of kindness a day for the month of July, that would be 775 million acts of kindness in Kind July.
